Not from bad engineering, but from unclear scope, mismatched expectations, and no shared definition of done. We built The Devora around fixing that first.
Our story
The Devora started in 2019 as a small team of engineers tired of watching well-funded projects stall, not for lack of skill, but because no one had done the unglamorous work of mapping the actual problem before writing code. We built our process around that gap: structured discovery, honest estimates, and a build phase that has no open questions by the time it starts.
Today we’re a team of 10–25 people, delivery-based in the U.S. and working with clients across finance, insurance, logistics, agriculture, legal tech, and transportation. We still take the same first step on every engagement: understand the problem before proposing the solution.
