The challenge
Ship inspectors needed to run SOP checks, inventory counts, and compliance reporting from vessels that are routinely offline for days at a time, stuck with a paper-and-spreadsheet process that let violations slip through and left reporting weeks behind.
Our approach
We designed the entire inspection flow offline-first instead of retrofitting connectivity later: every screen had to work with no signal, with sync and conflict resolution handled automatically the moment a device reconnected in port.
The solution
A cross-platform inspection app (web, iOS, and Android) with SQLite-backed offline storage and auto-sync, keyword-based SOP violation detection, QR-code and social-login authentication, and built-in access to reference material like VSP Manuals and EU Shipsan, plus a web dashboard for fleet-wide oversight.
